Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administative Building
In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island
Plant Area- Workspace is primarily in the Power Plant Area
Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area
 
Responsibilities
  • Performs quality control functions, monitors and identifies trends in transaction processing such as billing issues, work orders, revenue and back billing adjustments, meter disputes, etc. Analyzes departmental statistics. Audit work related to electricity consumption calculations, billing adjustments and related processes for accuracy, timeliness and completeness.
  • Investigates accounts that have not been billed, ensures correct and accurate billing by reviewing, calculating usage in accordance with established rates, related processes and procedures.
  • Ensures the accurate completion of all work related documentation and processes related but not limited to billing, payment, debt collection, and work order processing.
  • Tracks, reports and audits collection agency placements and recovery data transferred for accuracy and completeness including original placements, payment updates and other financial transactions, retractions or removals of account balances due to special requests or circumstances. Review and suggest accounts for write-off based on agency findings and recommendations.
  • Investigates collection discrepancies/errors including work orders and payment arrangements out of policy; follows up on high-risk account balances to determine if additional collection action is required or escalates to others.   
  • Conducts monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting using data warehouses and system data. Creates detailed reports with text and visuals to communicate information to stakeholders and management with clear, actionable insights. Develops and updates interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Reviews and enters section invoices for approval and payment as per policy and by required deadlines.
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Applicants should possess:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
